Quickie Croissant

6 slices smoked salmon
2 fresh croissants
2 slices havarti cheese
1 fresh tomato
2 thin slices red onion
2 tsp mayonnaise
1 tsp dijon mustard
4 tbsp whipped cream cheese
1 tsp capers
1/4 tsp Old Bay seasoning
8 large basil leaves


Slice croissant in half lengthwise.  Place 1 slice havarti cheese on one side. Place
under broiler until cheese starts to melt. Watch closely as the croissant will burn
quickly.  Place on serving dish.  In a bowl, stir mayonnaise, dijon, creme cheese, and
Old Bay together. Spread cream cheese mixture on bare side.  Add sliced onion, sliced
tomatoes, and top with salmon.  Spoon capers and cut for easier handling.
